The Dry Whites 2012

Our first cuvee of dry white stamped with the official organic wine brand. A very good year, slightly grey and cool, which we were pleased to have for our dry whites, engendering a subtle balance in the wines.

Andréa 2012

This wine is made from parcels of old vines from ‘La Graviere’, ‘La Route’ and ‘La Carbonniere’ from a soil of good limestone and exposure due north. A blend of 60% Muscadelle and 40% Semillon. Harvested in one day, the 17th amongst vines already partially botrytised.

‘Walking on fruity notes of pear and apple flavours with the perfume of early autumn and rich, ripe fruit, close to the Goddess of Nature. Notes of baked apples, this wine is characterised by its finesse and its aromas’. Guide Gault et Millau 2014

‘The Andrea dry white, very restrained, deploys its reach and length with significant precision’. Guide de la Revue du Vin de France 2014

‘Muscadelle 60% and Semillon bind precision and richness together, giving this dry white length and a pleasing bitterness, floral and dynamic. A keeping wine’. Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2014
