The liquoreux 2006

If the month of July was within the standard temperature, the month of August was cooler with regular rainfall. The temperatures rose at the beginning of September but then fell pretty quickly with rain. In the second half of September botrytis colonised the vines. And the month of October and also November was particularly sunny. In 2006 the harvests were grouped from 5 to 14 October. Two select picks were necessary to obtain grapes at 21 degrees of sugar, on average (more than 25 for the richest grapes of the first pick) with a total yield (throughout the vineyard) of 10hl/ha. Great care in sorting was necessary, for sour rot had also developed.

Cuvée Madame 2006

Is a wine of extreme richness without heaviness; refined on the nose, marrying cinnamon, honey, dried flowers and pure apricot gorged with sun.

‘Creamy texture bursting splendidly in the mouth. A wine of luxury, of meditation, which finishes with freshness. Spicy shrimp or a hot curry rub shoulders with panache’. Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2014

Château Tirecul La Gravière 2006

‘Spices, apricots, prunes on the nose as in the mouth with this wine which comes with a perfect balance and style’. Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2011

Les Pins 2006 :

‘Soft and honeyed, this wine possesses an elegant liqueur with a ginger finish’. Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2012
