The liquoreux 2007

The summer was moderately warm, punctuated by regular rainfall. A window of good weather between 11 and 28 October permitted picks without rainfall. The richness was excellent as well as the fruitiness, but at the same time there was no Madame - the complexity of wine wasn’t sufficient, in our opinion. In 2007 ‘Les Pins’ came exclusively from two select picks from young vines of 6 to 12 years in age. Grapes from the older vines furnished Chateau Tirecul La Graviere with an average degree approaching 23 between the 25th September and 19th October.

Château Tirecul La Gravière 2007

A delicate style on the nose but with richness in the mouth. A wine of character.

‘The cuvee Chateau 2007 has everything a great sweet wine should, a wealth of vigour, an opulent richness but without heaviness and a balance of the highest calibre between sugar and acidity’. Guide de la Revue du Vin de France 2012

Les Pins 2007 :

‘A robe of yellow straw nuanced with gold, a nose at first timid, based on wood, then on apricot and crystallised yellow peach, the palate completely in tune, fresh and persistent’. Guide Hachette 2011
